Students of Amarosa Academy

The students of Amarosa Academy were the heart of our pilot project. During the first 6 months of creative workshops, the entire student body of Amarosa participated in developing the core concepts in the mural. During the last 6 months of painting the mural, many new and familiar faces returned to work with color, earning fine art academic credit.

Art Apprentices

Under the mentorship of our core team of lead artists, these youth artists gained professional work experience sponsored by Artstart’s apprentice program.

Artstart Support

Independent artists contracted through Artstart provided steady mural support during the painting and varnishing process.

Creative Consultants

Independent consultants added vital subject expertise to our mural strategy and documentary storytelling.

Community Volunteers

Our deep gratitude extends to our community volunteers who generously offered their gift of time and skill to supporting the mural creation and students who were a part of the process.
